    A lot of photovoltaic generations will be installed in power system in future. This will largely affect the power flow in the system, and consequently voltage characteristics. From these reasons, it is expected that the voltage stability will be also affected. In the previous study, the voltage stability in the simple power system consisting of one infinite bus, one load, and one photovoltaic generation is discussed. In this paper, the voltage stability considering the shutdown and recovery of the photovoltaic generation is studied.

  • 3382.探索通过基于太空的太阳能发电卫星提供电力给远程基地的可行性

    Delivering electrical power to remote military bases can be an expensive and dangerous task. The idea of delivering renewable power to remote military bases through space-based solar power has existed for many years, but has not yet materialized. This research sought to examine existing studies and leverage their findings to determine a systems architecture and subsequent design alternatives that could deliver space-based solar power to a military base in Afghanistan. Three design alternatives were created and were based on the defined systems architecture. The system attributes vary by design alternative, to include transmitter size, rectenna size, power transmitted, mass of components, and number of launches required. The design attributes were weighted accordingly to stakeholder objectives. In turn, the entire design alternative was given a Measure of Effectiveness score. This score was used to determine the most effective design alternative among the designs presented in this research. The result is one of the three designs conclusively meets stakeholder requirements and is more effective than the others, yet further research should be done to improve the design and address other concerns, such as the extremely high cost of the system and the potential environmental and safety issues of the high-power microwave beam.

  • 3383.基于动态电源管理的无线温室控制系统节点能量消耗的研究

    The resources of wireless sensor nodes are limited,and the power of nodes is supplied with battery whose capacity is very limited,once the energy of battery is run out,the nodes will lose their effect,so there are serious energy constraint in wireless sensor network.In this paper,the specific energy consumption of sensor nodes is studied by experiments,the energy experimental hardware platform is established with the low power consumption SCM MSP430F135 and wireless transceiver chip CC2420,the relationship of energy consumption and communication distance for nodes is discussed,and the energy management strategy of effective wireless greenhouse monitoring system based on dynamic power management is put forward and discussed,the mobile structure is adopted in the convergent nodes.The experiment and simulation results show that the energy consumption of nodes is proportional to the third power of communication distance,the communication distance of sensor nodes can greatly shorten,and energy consumption is saved.

    Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are an emerging technology and certainly will be, without any doubt, a key technology in the future. To name a few, in 1999, the Business Week magazine included them as one of the most important technologies for the twenty-first century; in 2003, the Technology Review published by the MIT listed them as one of the top ten emerging technologies; and in 2006, Nature magazine dedicated a piece of news to them, entitled "2020 Computing: Everything, Everywhere," where WSN was considered to cause a huge impact in the near future. Now, in 2012, a big progress has been made in the development of these networks, and there is a continuously accelerated advancement of this technology to satisfv the demands of the market.

    Ten structure-based pharmacophore models of Cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) inhibitors were generated by LigandSeout based on COX-2 inhibitor complexes from the Protein Data Bank (PDB).The potential COX-2 inhibitors were identified from traditional Chinese medicine with the method of combinatorial screening with ten models.Based on the screening results of MDDR and the metrics of E,A% and comprehensive appraisal index (CAI),the threshold of hit frequency of molecules was defined and used to identify the active molecules from Chinese herbs.The molecules hit by not less than six pharmacophore models were taken as the screening objects of COX-2 inhibitor,and 1103 molecules were obtained.

    I present my work towards learning a better computer vision system that learns and generalizes object categories better, and behaves in ways closer to what human behave. Speci cally, I focus on two key components of such a system: learning better features, and revisiting existing problem statements. For the rst component, I propose and analyze novel receptive eld learning and dictionary learning methods, mathematically justi ed by the Nystrom sampling theory, that learn more compact and e ective features for object recognition tasks. For the second component, I propose to combine otherwise independently developed computer vision and cognitive science studies, and present the rst large-scale system that allows computers to learn and generalize closer to what a human learner will do. I also provide a large-scale human behavior database, which will hopefully enable further research along this research direction.

  • 3388.城市桥梁挠度监测中光电液杆传感器的应用

    The deflection which reflects the bridge linear variety is an important parameter for the evaluation of bridge safety.According to the structural characteristics of urban bridges,the connected pipe optoelectronic liquid level sensor system is a novel kind of sensor for detecting the connected pipe liquid level,which can be applied for multipoint,long-period,online,remote,automatic measurement of bridge deflection,it is not affected by the dust,humidity and fog in the urban bridge health monitoring and maintenance.At present,the system has been integrated and applied in the project of main roads bridge Online Safety Monitoring Management System in Hangzhou (Phase Ⅱ),a web-based urban bridge cluster monitoring system have been established since 2007.According to a tied arch bridge case studies,the measuring data show that the system not only can accurately collect the bridge normal deflection information and variety,but also successfully monitored the structural responses due to the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12,2008.About two-minute abrupt changes in displacement amplitude were observed in the measured signals starting at 14:37,about 9 minutes later than the earthquake's occurring.The results shows,it is an effective method for the real-time monitoring of urban bridge deflection.

    One approach to investigating neural death is through systematic studies of the changing morphology of cultured brain neurons in response to cellular challenges. Image segmentation and neuron skeleton reconstruction methods developed to date to analyze such changes have been limited by the low contrast of cells. In this paper we present new algorithms that successfully circumvent these problems. The binary method is based on logical analysis of grey and distance difference of images. The spurious regions are detected and removed through use of a hierarchical window filter. The skeletons of binary cell images are extracted. The extension direction and connection points of broken cell skeletons are automatically determined, and broken neural skeletons are reconstructed. The spurious strokes are deleted based on cell prior knowledge. The reconstructed skeletons are processed furthermore by filling holes, smoothing and extracting new skeletons. The final constructed neuron skeletons are analyzed and calculated to find the length and morphology of skeleton branches automatically. The efficacy of the developed algorithms is demonstrated here through a test of cultured brain neurons from newborn mice.

    Power system computation software tools are traditionally designed as serial codes and optimized for single-processor computers. They are becoming inadequate in terms of computational efficiency for the ever increasing complexity of the power grid. The power grid has served us remarkably well but is likely to see more changes over the next decade than it has seen over the past century. In particular, the widespread deployment of renewable generation, smart-grid controls, energy storage, plug-in hybrids, and other emerging technologies will require fundamental changes in the operational concepts and principal components of the grid. The grid is in an unprecedented transition that poses significant challenges in power grid operation. Central to this transition, power system computation needs to evolve accordingly to provide fast results for power grid management. On the other hand, power system computation should and has to take advantage of ubiquitous parallel computers. To bring HPC to power grid applications is not simply putting more computing units against the problem. It requires careful design and coding to match an application with computing hardware. Sometimes, alternative or new algorithms need to be used to maximize the benefit of HPC. This chapter demonstrates the benefits of HPC for power grid applications with several examples such as state estimation, contingency analysis, and dynamic simulation. These examples represent the major categories of power grid applications. Each of the applications has its own problem structure and data dependency requirements. The approach to apply HPC to these problems has different challenges. The HPC-enhanced state estimation, contingency analysis, and dynamic simulation presented in this chapter are suitable for today's power grid operation.
