Direct connection and reflective connection are commonly used in traditional Trojan's communication model,which have some significant deficiencies in hiding,anti-tracking,and efficiency.To improve the aspects above in traditional Trojan horse communication model,the author proposed a hybrid communication model based on P2P technology.The model uses P2P intranet penetration protocol to build the channel between the controlled station and the control station,and uses P2P node servers for saving the Trojan's status and transferring some data between the controlled and the control.The topology of networks for controller will be very flexible.Using the IP traceback technology will be difficult to track the controllers.Using UDP protocol in the hybrid communication model for data transmission will hide the network status.Control sites can work in distributed mode.By using the model,the hiding-ability,anti-traceability and communication efficiency will be greatly improved.

The DeepCwind consortium is a group of universities, national labs, and companies funded under a research initiative by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to support the research and development of floating offshore wind power. The two main objectives of the project are to better understand the complex dynamic behavior of floating offshore wind systems and to create experimental data for use in validating the tools used in modeling these systems. In support of these objectives, the DeepCwind consortium conducted a model test campaign in 2011 of three generic floating wind systems: a tension-leg platform (TLP), a spar-buoy (spar), and a semi-submersible (semi). Each of the three platforms was designed to support a 1/50th-scale model of a 5-MW wind turbine and was tested under a variety of wind/wave conditions. The focus of this paper is to summarize the work done by consortium members in analyzing the data obtained from the test campaign and its use for validating the offshore wind modeling tool, FAST.

The overarching goal of this project was to instrument the new MnDOT Navistar truck used at MN Road. A rugged data acquisition, data recording and wireless transmission system was established for collection of various sensor signals from the truck. The truck was instrumented with a suite of 20 accelerometers, with these accelerometers being located both on the five axles of the truck and on the tractor and trailer bodies. In addition, the truck was instrumented with a differential GPS system and an inertial measurement unit in the tractor cab. A cRIO-based data acquisition system, a rugged laptop and Labview software together serve as a flexible platform for data acquisition. A wireless communication system has been established to communicate trigger signals to roadside cabinets when the truck is at desired GPS locations on the road. Data recording by in-pavement sensors is triggered by this system. Software has also been set up for automatic downloading of data from the truck to a server on the network at MN Road. The experimental performance of the developed system has been verified by multiple tests conducted by the research team. The above instrumentation of the truck will enable data collection on truck vibrations, enable analysis of correlations between truck vibrations and variations in signals of weigh-in-motion sensors, and enable recording of truck movements and pavement loads at MnROAD.

This paper presents the results of an investigation of a proposed concept for closely spaced parallel runways called the Simplified Aircraft-based Paired Approach (SAPA). This procedure depends upon a new alerting algorithm called the Adjacent Landing Alerting System (ALAS). This study used both low fidelity and high fidelity simulations to validate the SAPA procedure and test the performance of the new alerting algorithm. The low fidelity simulation enabled a determination of minimum approach distance for the worst case over millions of scenarios. The high fidelity simulation enabled an accurate determination of timings and minimum approach distance in the presence of realistic trajectories, communication latencies, and total system error for 108 test cases. The SAPA procedure and the ALAS alerting algorithm were applied to the 750-ft parallel spacing (e.g., SFO 28L/28R) approach problem. With the SAPA procedure as defined in this paper, this study concludes that a 750-ft application does not appear to be feasible, but preliminary results for 1000-ft parallel runways look promising.

Ensuring the effectiveness and reliability of communications networks is essential to national security, the economy, and public health and safety. The communications networks (including core and access networks) can be threatened by both natural and human-caused events, including increasingly sophisticated and prevalent cyber-based threats. GAO has identified the protection of systems supporting the nation's critical infrastructure--which includes the communications sector--as a government-wide high-risk area. GAO was asked to (1) identify the roles of and actions taken by key federal entities to help protect communications networks from cyber-based threats, (2) assess what is known about the extent to which cyber incidents affecting the communications networks have been reported to the FCC and DHS, and (3) determine if Defense's pilot programs to promote cybersecurity in the defense industrial base can be used in the communications sector. To do this, GAO focused on core and access networks that support communication services, as well as critical components supporting the Internet. GAO analyzed federal agency policies, plans, and other documents; interviewed officials; and reviewed relevant reports.

Current Kennedy Space Center practice results in half the hydrogen purchased being lost——Leads to large economic losses. KSC needs are different than other industrial gas customers. The industrial gas companies are optimized for other customers needs. KSC should modernize its liquid hydrogen systems, taking into account cryogenic advances made in the past 50 years, to optimize life cycle costs for the unique KSC application. This paper presents a concept for a human mission to Mars orbit that features direct robotic exploration of the planet s surface via teleoperation from orbit. This mission is a good example of Human Exploration using Real-time Robotic Operations (HERRO), an exploration strategy that refrains from sending humans to the surfaces of planets with large gravity wells. HERRO avoids the need for complex and expensive man-rated lander/ascent vehicles and surface systems. Additionally, the humans are close enough to the surface to effectively eliminate the two-way communication latency that constrains typical robotic space missions, thus allowing real-time command and control of surface operations and experiments by the crew. Through use of state-of-the-art telecommunications and robotics, HERRO provides the cognitive and decision-making advantages of having humans at the site of study for only a fraction of the cost of conventional human surface missions. It is very similar to how oceanographers and oil companies use telerobotic submersibles to work in inaccessible areas of the ocean, and represents a more expedient, near-term step prior to landing humans on Mars and other large planetary bodies. Results suggest that a single HERRO mission with six crew members could achieve the same exploratory and scientific return as three conventional crewed missions to the Mars surface.

With the growth of the digital economy, more economic activities are taking place on the Internet, potentially reducing geographic constraints, increasing efficiency, and improving growth prospects for rural communities. Rural America, however, may be at a disadvantage in reaping the benefits of this growth because rural households are still less likely to subscribe to the Internet than are urban households. By 2010, only 62 percent of U.S. rural households and farms had home subscriptions to the Internet, compared with 73 percent of urban households. Broadband technology has become the technology of choice for Internet users (wherever it is available)-96 percent of urban and 92 percent of rural household Internet subscribers use broadband. Nevertheless, broadband Internet connections (which offer higher speed Internet access than dial-up connections) are not available as often, nor used as readily by rural households as by urban households.
