Agricultural films are new-age films that are a component of modern farming technologies used to increase farm productivity. They are generally made from a variety of plastic resins such as different grades of PE, EVA, PVC, and PVOH. They offer a wide range of benefits in mulching, silage, and greenhouse applications such as soil temperature and moisture control, elimination of weeds, enabling lesser use of herbicides, storage and growth of crops in greenhouses, and prevention of soil erosion, in addition to protecting cattle fodder in silage bales. But, owing to disposal and pollution hazards, they are facing competition from non-biodegradable alternatives. The key customers of agricultural films are crop growers, processors, and retail packagers, who are the major stakeholders across the agricultural and horticultural sectors.

Insurance is a financial instrument, it is a contract that involves two parties: the insurer and the insured. Based on the contract policies and conditions, the insured pays a premium to cover the specified asset or life. The life insurance policy is a contract between the insurer and the insured, under which the premiums are received, and the insurer agrees to pay a sum of money based on the conditions in the policy. The insurance market in India is an established one. Digitization of insurance is expected to increase the penetration rate of life insurance policies because of wider availability of technologically advanced products online. Insurance policies are broadly classified as traditional and ULIPs. The improvements in internet infrastructure and the rising cost of insurance policies are major factors that pave the way for online life insurance. With public entities such as LIC entering the online insurance market, the credibility of policies purchased online is strengthened, thereby leading to higher enrollment for online policies. As a result, there has been an increase in activities pertaining to sales as well as renewal of insurance policies via the online medium. Policyholders who purchased policies in a traditional manner are also using the online method for renewals and paying premiums.

The Li-ion battery is the fastest growing battery segment in the rechargeable battery market. Liion batteries have become more common in electronic devices such as laptops, smart phones, notebooks, and tablets because of high energy density and high charge and discharge rate capabilities. These batteries consists of one or more generating compartments called cells. Each cell consists of three components; a positive electrode (cathode), negative electrode (anode), and an electrolyte between them. The cathode is made from a chemical compound, such as lithium cobalt oxide or LiFePO4. The anode is made up of carbon (graphite) and the electrolyte varies according to battery type. During charging, lithium ions from the cathode move through the electrolyte to reach the anode and remain there. The battery stores energy during this process. When the battery is discharging, the lithium ions move back across the electrolyte to the cathode. During charging/discharging, electrons flow around the outer circuits. Electrons do not pass directly through the electrolyte, as it is an effective insulating barrier.
