  • 3841.使用RF-DNA指纹识别操作环境的ZigBee设备

    This research was performed to expand AFIT's Radio Frequency 'Distinct Native Attribute' (RF-DNA) fingerprinting process to support IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee communication network applications. The fingerprints were constructed using a 'hybrid' pool of emissions collected under a range of conditions, including anechoic chamber and an indoor office environment where dynamic multi-path and signal degradation factors were present. The RF-DNA fingerprints were input to a Multiple Discriminant Analysis, Maximum Likelihood (MDA/ML) discrimination process and a 1 vs. many 'Looks most like' classification assessment made. The hybrid MDA model was also used for 1 vs. 1 'Looks how much like' verification assessment. ZigBee Device Classification performance was assessed using both full and reduced dimensional fingerprint sets. Reduced dimensional subsets were selected using Dimensional Reduction Analysis (DRA) by rank ordering (1) pre-classification KS-Test p-values and (2) post-classification GRLVQI feature relevance values.   • 3842.使用机器学习算法的加密网络流量分类

    This research evaluates the feasibility of using ML algorithms to classify web services within encrypted TLS flows. The ML algorithms are compared primarily based on classification accuracy. The runtimes of the classifiers are also considered, as classifiers must be able determine labels quickly in order to be used in near realtime network protection devices. Five ML algorithms are initially considered when analyzing only the first 12 packets: Naive Bayes, NBTree, LibSVM, J4.8, and AdaBoost+J4.8. AdaBoost+J4.8 and J4.8 produce the best accuracies and runtimes and are tested on flowlengths of 1-20 packets. J4.8 reaches a peak accuracy of 97.99at 14 packets. AdaBoost+J4.8 peaks later at 18 packets with 98.41accuracy. AdaBoost+J4.8 requires 21.55 microseconds to classify a single flow at peak accuracy, while J4.8 requires only 2.37 microseconds to classify at peak accuracy. The quick runtimes and high accuracies of the J4.8 and AdaBoost+J4.8 indicate that these ML algorithms are good choices for near real-time classification of web services within an encrypted TLS flow.

    This research invstigated the issue of facilitating network information exchange among models and more specifically concentrated on two primary objectives:(a) identify solutions to the model information exchange problem, focusing on the network, and (b) assess the feasibility of the implementation of the proposed solution and provide recommendation for its practical inmlementation. To address this issue, two options were explored:(a) keeping independent networks in place but developing associations among them in order to facilitate information exchange and (b) using one unified common network for all models.

This type of energy system would provide onsite-generated heat and electricity to large end users such as hospitals and office complexes. The hydrogen produced could be used for fueling vehicles or stored for later conversion to electricity.

    The primary objectives of this project are to demonstrate: (1) energy efficiency gains achievable in small- to medium-sized buildings with MPC- based whole-building optimal control and (2) reduction in first costs achievable with a wireless sensor network (WSN)-based building heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) control system compared to a conventional wired system. The second objective is key because first cost is a barrier to wider application of advanced HVAC control and 70of the first cost is attributed to installation (wiring) and commissioning.

  • 3847.认知无线电中动态频谱接入网络的接收机统计

    The fundamental theme for the research performed under the subject grant is the exploitation of receiver statistics that are obtained as packets are being demodulated and decoded in tactical cognitive radio networks. We employ receiver statistics to provide control information for adaptive protocols, improve soft-decision decoding, permit spectrum sensing while communicating, and form silencing sets in media access control. To accelerate protocol design and development, we derived methods to generate receiver statistics directly, which avoids time-consuming embedded simulations of the physical layer in performance evaluations of cross-layer protocols such as adaptive transmission, media access control, and routing protocols.

    We consider the problem of distributed detection in a large network of sensors under network communication constraints. Sensor nodes are randomly deployed and follow a random sleep/wake schedule. When awake, sensor nodes perform local detection tests and communicate detections over a multiple-access channel to a fusion center. The fusion center can detect both successful communications and communication collisions in the channel. We derive fusion rules for perfect communications and a delay-constrained protocol and show that each are functions of count statistics only. We derive analytical expressions that characterize the performance of the system in terms of energy consumption and detection probability. Simulation examples compare theoretical predictions with numerical results.

    Aim at local optimal problem in the path planning of mobile robot by artificial immune algorithm,it is proposed that the improved artificial immune algorithm of mobile robot path planning.Based on artificial immunity algorithm,the potential function method of an artificial potential field is used in this algorithm,improving randomness of the initial population of the artificial immune algorithm,then the algorithm make initial population turn to evolutionary operation through crossover,variance and selection operator to get optimum antibody.The simulation results showed that this algorithm is easy to get the optimal path,at the same time,increasing the speed of the path planning,and the length of the optimal path planning is less 28.5% compare with the traditional immune algorithm.

    This research seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of these LDPC codes in a QKD setting, while comparing real-world parameters such as runtime, throughput and communication complexity empirically with the well- known Cascade and Winnow algorithms. Additionally, the effects of inaccurate error estimation, non-uniform error distribution and varying key length on all three protocols are evaluated for identical input key strings. Analyses are performed on the results in order to characterize the performance of all three protocols and determine the strengths and weaknesses of each.
