  • 2768.基于低碳的能源消费的粗略估计与甘肃省旅游CO2排放

    Low-carbon tourism is proposed as a new pattern to develop the global low-carbon economy, which goes with the tide in the global climate of change.Because tourism industry has a so close association with another industries that almost every link of tourism activities could be related to energy consumption and CO2 emission.So, energy conservation and emission reduction constitute an important part of developing low-carbon tourism.This article selects GanSu Province, the weak ecological environment, as the research object.In accordance with the documents research and mathematical statistics, and the "bottom-up" study method., we made an research on energy consumption and the CO2 emission of GanSu province from the tourism travel , tourism accommodation, and tourism activities, respectively.From the result, GanSu's tourism with low-carbon and energy-saving characteristics, accounting for 0.45% energy consumptions and 0.86% CO2 emission in that of the GanSu's tourism.It shows that tourism fits in with the requirements of low-carbon tourism development.However, one of the most important factor in the tourism energy consumption and the CO2 emission is the tourism transportation, accounting for 68.83% energy consumptions and 65.96% CO2 emission in that of tourism respectively, which should be focus on as the key link in low-carbon tourism development.

  • 2769.利用强大的洋流进行船舶定线

    From the Surface Velocity Program (SVP) drifter current data, a detailed and complete track of strong ocean currents in the north-western Pacific is provided using the bin average method. The focus of this study is on the Kuroshio, the strong western boundary current of the North Pacific flowing northward along the east coast of Taiwan and then turning eastward off southern Japan. With its average flow speed of about 2 knots, the Kuroshio can significantly increase the ship s speed for a super-slow-steaming container ship travelling at speeds of 12 knots between the ports of Southeast Asia and Japan. By properly utilizing knowledge of strong ocean currents to follow the Kuroshio on the northbound runs and avoid it on the return trip, considerable fuel can be saved and the transit time can be reduced. In the future, the detailed Kuroshio saving-energy route could be built into electronic chart systems for all navigators and shipping routers.

    The Energy Efficient Buildings Hub (EEBHub) uses Sankey diagrams to visually analyze energy use in the building of its headquarters, Building 101 (B101). This report describes B101 energy consumption and passive energy exchanges with the surrounding environment and through the building. For this initial Sankey diagram exercise, completed on January 31, 2013, the data/model integration was primarily performed by calibrating the EnergyPlus model to measured energy consumption data. The annual model is used as a starting point, while iterations of the EnergyPlus simulation provide results for January and July to demonstrate how energy use changes throughout the year. Annually, the Sankey diagram shows energy consumption from electricity and natural gas, as well as the end uses. The heating, cooling, and air handling are the largest sources of energy usage. Interior lighting and equipment are also considerable consumers of electricity. Seasonally, the trends of energy consumption are visually demonstrated by comparing January and June Sankey diagrams. As expected, winter requires heating via the boiler as the largest energy consumer, while much of the building heat is lost is to the exterior. The summer months have several sources of heat, both exterior and interior, to the building. Cooling is the largest consumer of electricity in July, followed by interior lighting and equipment, and the air handling. From these seasonal diagrams, it is easy to recognize the buildings interactions with its environment, and the strain that induces on its energy consumption. These visualizations help identify where equipment modifications (with better efficiencies) can reduce energy consumption. This report demonstrates the integration of multiple sources of data to output a broad picture of engineered and environmental fluxes of energy through the EEBHub. The outcomes of this project are to provide a building energy analysis on B101 that helps identify large sources of energy consumption, gaps in data, and provide opportunities to deploy energy saving technologies.
