The global navigation satellite system (GNSS) industry plays an important role in determining the position, estimating the time to reach a certain place, locating the positions of the car, and viewing the traffic on the route. In last five years, there was a rapid growth in commercial applications of GNSS. The advancement in technology and increasing interest in positioning techniques based on GNSSs, such as GPS, cellular network infrastructure, or the integration of two technologies for applications, such as automatic vehicle location (AVL), tracking systems, and navigation, have led to the development in navigation systems in various countries, such as United States, India, and China.  Consumer preference toward better driving experience and easier navigation acted as a major propellant for the growth of the automotive navigation systems market. Spike in sales of luxury vehicles with factory installed navigation systems has further pushed the market growth of automotive navigation systems.  Improving e-commerce and developing logistic infrastructure created a demand for on-time delivery, resulting in employment of navigation systems in LCVs. In 2019, the European automotive navigation systems market was the largest market, globally, with a share of over 36%.

2020年2月，受新冠肺炎疫情影响，汽车产销出现大幅下滑。生产端，企业因复工进度慢、零部件供应等问题导致产出水平低；消费端，产品消费停滞，市场需求受到严重抑制。乘用车、商用车产销均明显下降，其中商用车降幅低于行业平均水平；新能源汽车产销本月继续明显下降；中国品牌乘用车销量虽延续了上月快速下降趋势，但市场占有率比上月明显提高；小排量乘用车销售环比、同比均出现明显下降。出口方面，2月，我国汽车出口量环比、同比均明显下降，其中乘用车出口量同比下降4.3%，商用车出口量同比下降52.4%。

2020年1月，受上年末需求提前释放、1月份春节假期及新冠肺炎疫情等多种因素影响，汽车产销环比、同比均呈下降走势。其中，乘用车产销环比、同比明显下降；商用车产销也结束上年末的增长势头，出现下降；新能源汽车产销降幅较大，市场消费动能明显不足。

2020年1季度，我国汽车行业政策变化主要有如下几个方面：一是针对新冠肺炎疫情的影响，工信部及时组织开展负压救护车重点生产企业督导检查，调整了公告、合格证、双积分管理有关工作安排，保证了疫情期间行业的平稳运行和重要防疫产品的有序生产；二是相关部门支持商贸流通业复工营业，提出稳住汽车消费，鼓励地方出台新车购置补贴、汽车“以旧换新”补贴、取消皮卡进城限制、促进二手车便利交易等措施；三是为更好适应我国新能源汽车产业发展需要，工信部发布拟修改《新能源汽车生产企业及产品准入管理规定》，降低准入门槛；四是为加快推进智能汽车创新发展，国家发改委等11部门联合出台《智能汽车创新发展战略》；五是工信部完成《汽车驾驶自动化分级》推荐性国家标准制定工作，拟于2021年开始实施；六是两部门联合发布《关于加快建立绿色生产和消费法规政策体系的意见》，提出要完善机动车报废更新政策和新能源汽车推广机制等。

行业：4月皮卡销量同比继续复苏，终端上险量高于批发销量。

整体：4月皮卡终端上险4.2万辆，同比增长12.7%；批发3.9万台，同比-13.4%。终端上险量高于批发销量，渠道去库存；

分企业：长城、江西五十铃、福田增速高于行业，长城同比高速增长61.3%，长城市占率49.2%，同比提升14.8pct；

分车型：长城3车型位居前三；

分省份：四川、河北、山东、新疆、云南为皮卡主要消费省份，长城在多数省份市占率第一。

2019年，中国的汽车销量连续第二年下滑。据中国汽车工业协会统计数据，2019年中国汽车总销量达2580万辆，同比减少8.2％。在国内经济疲软、贸易环境恶化及新能源汽车补贴逐渐退坡的背景下，2019年汽车销量萎缩情况比2018年的同比下滑2.8％更为严重。尽管如此，中国汽车产销量继续蝉联全球第一。

由於 美國再度 對中國多項產品 加徵進口關稅稅率，引發全球製造業的投資信心下滑，因此造成 2019 年我國本產業 產、銷值分別達 429.31 億元和 430.36 億元，各較 2018 年衰退 1.40% 和 2.33% 。 受到疫情因素干擾中國製造業採購設備意願下滑 的影響 ，估計 2020 年第一季本產業產、銷值年增率將延續 2019 年第四季明顯衰退局面 。
