Saudi Arabia's construction industry remains largely dominated by domestic firms, many of which have close ties to the government and are often first in line for major public contracts. Foreign firms are gradually gaining market shares, with South Korean and US firms targeting industrial projects while several major European firms are involved in transport and energy projects. The broad range of projects in the pipeline does mean opportunities are present for domestic and international firms, although the latter will be presented with challenges in the form of a restrictive operating environment.

Ambitious economic diversification plans coupled with a robust PPP framework will continue to attract foreign firms to the sultanate's infrastructure market. This will facilitate a sustained diversification of the competitive landscape. Our Key Projects Database indicates the dominance of domestic firms in Oman's construction sector has been eroded significantly since 2015 (when Omani firms accounted for 60% of the market). The market share of Omani firms has since fallen to 46%, a notable decline in such a short period (see 'Foreign Construction Players Increasing Market Share,' May 5 2015).

2016年随着《关于促进通用航空产业发展的指导意见》的出台，一系列通航支持政策陆续出台，国内通航发展环境不断优化，通航机场等基建项目也持续增长，同时多个通航示范工程的启动也带动了通航市场多元化发展，通航市场规模呈现快速增长的发展态势。2016年，中国通用航空市场规模达到1760亿元，同比增长16.2%。

2016年众多消费级企业开始关注细分领域，尤其是在微型无人机自拍领域，先后有多家企业试图进入，带动了消费级无人机领域的继续增长。同时专业级应用随着技术的成熟接受度不断提高，销量呈现快速增长态势。2016年中国无人机销售量达到19.7万架，同比增长69.8%，销售额达到36.1亿元，同比增长57.6%。

在国家政策的大力推动和市场需求的不断刺激下，我国卫星导航产业进入快速增长期。2016年，中国卫星导航市场规模达到976.4亿元，同比增长16.2%。由于GPS起步较早，目前在国内市场仍占据主导地位，智能手机、车载导航仪等大众市场终端产品对GPS系统依赖度较高。随着北斗导航系统的不断完善，我国已经逐渐突破北斗芯片、模块、板卡等关键技术，产品性价比已经接近国际水平，北斗终端和运营服务市场也在不断增长。

In the first half of 2017, Brazil’s economy reached a turning point, exiting from the deepest recession in decades. The economy was supported by a record agricultural harvest and an uptick in consumption, as a result of lower inflationary pressures, decreasing borrowing costs and positive sentiments over the adopted government reforms. Based on these fundamentals, in October 2017, the IMF raised its growth estimates for Brazil’s economy from 0.3% to 0.75% in 2017, and from 1.3% to 1.5% in 2018. The institution defended the government drive towards fiscal sustainability, including the adopted public spending cap in December 2016 and the ongoing pension reform, as key measures for the recovery of confidence and private sector investment. Nevertheless, economic growth is projected to remain subdued in the medium term, at about 2% per year through 2022, mainly due to the recent rise in political instability that poses risks to the government’s reform agenda. New corruption investigations surrounding top government officials coupled with the upcoming general elections in October 2018, are rapidly closing the window for legislative action. Notably, reforms of the pension system, public healthcare, tax code, and infrastructure concessions regime are seen as essential to support macroeconomic stability, secure confidence and bring the economy back to its potential.

The government of Bosnia's Federation approved BAM64.68mn for the programme of modernization of roads in 2017 in terms of financing from international financial institutions and BAM31.81mn from public funds (Sarajevo Times). Bosnia's Federation signed EUR221mn loan deals with the EBRD to finance road projects, in February 2018 EBRD said it will be investing more than EUR700mn in Bosnian road infrastructure. Bosnia's Autoputevi RS signed a motorway construction deal with Chinese group. Bosnia's Serb Republic launched Banja Luka-Drugovici motorway section (SeeNews). Bosnia's Tuzla International Airport launched a EUR3.1mn expansion project (SeeNews). • Bosnia's Serb Republic railway operator signed a deal with Chinese group for the reconstruction of the Banja Luka-Novi Grad railway line. Chinese interest to build the railway line Vares-Banovici.

政府出台政策大力推动行业发展，要求 2018 年底为“一带一路”地区提供全面的北斗导航服务。为此，北斗卫星进入密集发射期，继 2012 年北斗二号的 16颗卫星之后，北斗三号卫星于 2017 年底正式发射，目标 2018 年发射 16 颗，为历年发射数量之最，届时将基本完成全球 35 颗卫星的组网任务，提前完成 2020年目标。与此同时，地基增强系统（CROS）一期建设已于 2016 年底完成，可提供基本的高精度服务，2018 年底二期补充建设工程即将结束，届时可提供全面的高精度导航服务。

此次组建自然资源部和生态环境部打破了原来各部门间数据阻隔以及重复监管问题，避免了地理信息应用重复建设，更重要的是解决了地理信息产业范围不断扩大与测绘为基础的监管部门传统管理理念的矛盾，为未来地理信息产业市场化和创造新的地理信息服务模式打下了良好的基础。我国地理信息产业将迎来春天，与其他行业深度融合，提升行业应用水平成为当务之急。
