RDN is a new device-based percutaneous surgical treatment procedure that is used to treat patients with treatment-resistant hypertension. RDN is a novel, safe, and effective procedure for patients whose blood pressure levels cannot be controlled despite taking multiple medications. RDN devices consist of a flexible catheter that delivers radiofrequency or ultrasound energy to the renal nerves in the renal arteries. Since hyperactivity in renal sympathetic nerves causes treatment-resistant hypertension, RDN devices are used to carry out a series of ablation in renal nerves that result in disrupting the nerves and reducing the blood pressure. A number of clinical studies have proven RDN procedures to be safe, long-lasting, and effective in reducing systolic blood pressure by as much as 20 percent.

IVF is a process where an egg is fertilized by sperm in vitro. It is one of the treatments used for infertility problems. Thermal treatment air filtration is a method to filter the exhaust gas emissions arising out of various industrial processes in order to prevent hazardous air pollutants from mixing up with the environment. In this technique, the exhaust air is thermally heated to very high temperatures in the oxidizer chamber, thus breaking the bond among the pollutant compounds. The compound then mixes up with the oxygen present in the chamber to form CO2, and H2O. This method is widely suitable for removing several hazardous air pollutants, VOCs, and other toxic chemicals from industrial air stream. Using the thermal treatment air filtration technique end-users can reach purity levels of up to 99.5 percent in the exhaust gas.The Global Thermal Treatment Air Filtration market is expected to grow at a steady rate during the period 2012-2016. Cryogenics is the study of the production of extremely low temperatures as well the behavior of materials at those temperatures. Cryogenic equipment is designed to store liquefied gases that are maintained at extremely low temperatures to retain their liquid state. Low temperatures below -150°C, generally referred to as cryogenic temperature, are required to store these gases. As these liquefied gases require extremely low temperatures they cannot be handled using ordinary equipment, therefore requiring specially manufactured cryogenic equipment. The most commonly used cryogenic equipment includes tanks, valves, vaporizers, and pumps. Cryogenic equipment is being increasingly used in industries such as Petrochemical, Chemicals, Metallurgy, Power, Electronics, and Shipbuilding for various purposes.

All Asia-Pacific countries have launched 4G services, which are slowly replacing 3G, as they are four to ten times faster. The Asia-Pacific is likely to have the highest volume of smartphone shipments, with revenue of the region’s mobile operators totaling US$500 billion in 2013, making it the world’s fastest-growing regional mobile market. SMS over the internet such as WeChat, LINE, KakaoTalk, Whatsapp and Viber have replaced traditional SMS among Asians as they provide lower or no charges, unlimited texting and rich features such as location sharing, emoticons or interesting animation. Although more Asia-Pacific internet users are web searching on smartphones and tablets Adobe estimates the vast majority of website visits are still done on a PC. The outlook for the mobile sector is positive, as smartphones with higher internet speeds are likely to be introduced to meet the demands of internet users and gadget lovers.

Indonesia’s low-cost carrier Mandala Airlines aims to carry two million passengers in 2013. It is seeking to capture a 20% share in Indonesia’s domestic market. The entry of low-cost carrier Malindo Airways into the Malaysia market has turned up the heat on AirAsia. Investors are eyeing stakes in Asia-Pacific airlines, to tap into the region’s fast-growing aviation market. Philippines AirAsia, agreed in March to acquire a 49% stake in Philippine rival Zest Airways and 100% of Asiawide Airways. Korean Air acquired a 44% stake in loss-making CSA Czech Airlines for €2.64 million (US$3.43 million), in a bid to increase its presence in Europe. Asia-Pacific airlines look set to continue to raise funds for financing fleet expansion and to par high debt levels. IATA projects a total worldwide industry profit of US$12.7 billion for 2013.

Asian public institutional equity investors are turning their attention to North American oil and gas opportunities for attractive growth and returns, following in the footsteps of their private investment counterparts. When more exports of US LNG from the shale-gas production boom are allowed, China and the rest of northern Asia could benefit from much cheaper gas. Rising operating costs continued to become a barrier to oil and gas company growth despite the industry’s rapid expansion. Asia’s economic growth is restricted by its huge dependence on foreign imports of oil and gas.
