    The recent technological advancements in the field of next-generation sequencing (NGS) and cell and molecular biology have given birth to a new era of precision medicine, giving a platform to analyze the variability in genes, lifestyle, and environment of each person individually. Single-cell sequencing has been able to portray a clear picture of functions of each specific cell by combining multiple layers of information at a single-cell resolution, analyzing both DNA and RNA to understand single-cell genome or chromatin and transcriptome and proteome data, respectively.

    Single-use systems refer to disposable equipment and related consumables, which are designed to be used once and then discarded. These disposable devices and components have created new segments in the bioprocessing industry that have been evolving over the past few years. Several biopharma companies are adopting this technology for its ease and the flexibility that it offers in adjusting to varying product supply and demand.
