7 月 9 日，国家发展改革委组织召开全国电视电话会议，安排部署 2020 年能源迎峰度夏工作。会议以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，深入贯彻党的十九大和十九届二中、三中、四中全会精神，认真落实中央经济工作会议和政府工作报告各项部署，全面分析研判能源迎峰度夏供需形势，抓住突出矛盾和问题，围绕“改革、增储、安全”，指导有关方面全力做好迎峰度夏能源供应保障。国家发展改革委副主任连维良出席会议并作重要讲话，国家能源局副局长刘宝华提出工作要求，国家发展改革委赵辰昕副秘书长主持会议，国家电网公司负责同志和相关省份人民政府联系工作的副秘书长就有关工作发言。
