Exports of rubber and rubber products in China kept a 10% growth in 2013 while imports of them saw an 11.9% rise in last year.The capacity for TPU in China is expected to be 270 kt/a by 2018. The domestic demand will reach over 300 kt at that time. TPU sector will therefore still have a bringht prospect.

Improvement in the global economy was noticeable in most Asia-Pacific markets during the second half of 2013, with several countries reporting strong growth and the regional real estate market remaining firm, particularly in South East Asia. The World Bank estimates the Asia-Pacific economy grew by 7.1% in 2013, compared with 7.5% a year earlier. Regional growth was marred by several natural disasters during the second half, the most severe being Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, which killed an estimated 6,000 people in November. Although the pace of growth slowed, the region contributed 40% of global growth and 33% of global trade, the highest of any region in 2013.

The key economies of China, India and Indonesia with large domestic markets grew moderately in 2013 after recent years of strong performance, although China’s economy was still growing relatively fast at 7.5% in 2013 and is projected to expand by 7.3% in 2014. As far as the automotive industry was concerned, China was the world’s largest auto market in 2013 and registered 9.2% gains in production and sales in the first quarter of 2014. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) forecast this year’s auto sales to grow between 8% and 10% amid a widening middle class and a new energy vehicle boom, despite greater downward pressure on the country’s economic growth.

2014年7月份，全国电信业务总量完成1513.1亿元，同比增长14.6%，比6月回升1.0个百分点；电信主营业务收入完成968.0亿元，同比下降3.5%,环比下降1.1%，主营业务收入增长乏力。 2014年1-7月，全国电信业务总量累计完成10132.1亿元，同比增长15.0%，比1-6月下降0.1个百分点；电信主营业务收入累计完成6925.4亿元，同比增长4.2%，比1-6月下降1.4个百分点，再次延续同比增速持续回落的趋势。

3180.2014年8月（上半月）电力行业要闻综述

国家发改委8月15日公布《电力监控系统安全防护规定》，以防范黑客及恶意代码等对电力监控系统的攻击及侵害，保障电力系统的安全稳定运行。规定将于今年9月1日起施行。该规定是为了加强电力监控系统信息安全管理，结合电力监控系统的实际情况制定的。规定要求，当遭受网络攻击，生产控制大区的电力监控系统出现异常或者故障时，应当立即向其上级电力调度机构以及当地国家能源局派出机构报告，并联合采取紧急防护措施，同时应当注意保护现场，以便进行调查取证。规定还对技术管理、安全管理和保密管理等提出了具体要求。
