Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensing is a technology that measures distance by illuminating a target with a laser light. The first generation of automotive adaptive cruise control systems used only LiDAR sensors.

The separation of the mixture is caused by different speeds with which the constituents of the mixture travel. The separation is done on the basis of differential partitioning between mobile and stationery phases. Subtle differences in the partition coefficient of a compound lead to differential retention on the stationary phase, thereby changing the separation.

7 月 13 日工信部公示 2015 年乘用车企的燃油消耗情况。116 家企业（包括 89 家国内乘用车企和 27 家进口乘用车企）乘用车总产量达 2111.4 万辆，加权平均油耗为 7.04L/100km，低于加权整体油耗目标值 7.57L/100km。其中 89 家国内乘用车器加权排放6.98L/100km，低于加权目标值 7.49L/100km。符合第三阶段全国乘用车平均油耗达到 7L/100km 的目标。
