全球轮胎市场需求于2020年下半年回暖。疫情冲击下2020年全球轮胎总销量15.77亿条，同比下滑11.7%。其中配套市场和替换市场分别实现3.99亿条和11.78亿条，同比分别下滑14.7%和10.6%。下滑幅度在下半年疫情得到一定程度的控制后收窄。2020年下半年全球轮胎销量回升至9.06亿条，环比增长35%，与2019年同期基本持平。

2020 年11 月15 日， 第四次区域全面经济伙伴关系协定领导人会议签署了《区域全面经济伙伴关系协定》（ Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership， RCEP）就关税减让等内容作出承诺，这一自贸协定也将对中国轮胎业产生深远影响。
