A design of electronic laser harp based on SCM (the abbreviation for "single chip microcomputer") is proposed.It adopts the semiconductor laser transmitter and the receiving tube as a sensor,and uses the laser transmitter emits beams to imitate the 8 strings of harp.The main control chip STC89C52RC collects and processes the signal from receiving tube circuit,then STC89C52RC outputs special signal to produce sound of harp by audio.Compared with the traditional method,this design greatly enhances the anti-interference ability of the system,and it owns a certain degree of innovation and creation in not only the form of performance but also design proposal of system.

Pursuant to sections 1832(a)(1), 1861(s)(6), (s)(8), and (s)(9), and 1861(n) of the Social Security Act, Medicare Part B provides for the coverage of durable medical equipment (DME), prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS). The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contracts with four DME Medicare administrative contractors (DME MAC) to process and pay Medicare Part B claims. When submitting claims to DME MACs, suppliers use Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes as well as modifiers that indicate left or right limb and a functional level. Each claim can include multiple HCPCS codes, each of which represents a different component of the lower limb prosthetic provided by the supplier. A lower limb prosthetic is an artificial replacement for any or all parts of the leg and provides an individual who has an amputated limb with the opportunity to perform functional tasks, particularly walking, which may not be possible without the device. DME MACs develop local coverage determinations (LCD) for some covered DMEPOS items. LCDs describe the circumstances for Medicare coverage for lower limb prosthetics and outline the conditions under which DME MACs will cover those devices. LCDs require that some lower limb prosthetics have minimum functional levels to be covered by Medicare. To be paid for a Medicare DMEPOS claim, the supplier must have on file: (1) written documentation of a verbal order/preliminary written order, (2) a detailed written order, (3) proof of delivery, (4) a beneficiary authorization, (5) information from the treating physician concerning the patients diagnosis, and (6) any information required for the use of specific modifiers or attestation statements as defined in certain DME policies. A DMEPOS supplier should also obtain as much documentation from the patients medical records as it requires to ensure that the coverage criterion for an item has been met. If the information in the patients medical records does not adequately support the medical necessity for the item, the supplier is liable for the dollar amount involved. This review was completed as followup work to the Office of Inspector General, Office of Evaluation and Inspections, review, Questionable Billing by Suppliers of Lower Limb Prostheses, issued in August 2011. Kessler Heasley Artificial Limb, also known as Ozark Prosthetics & Orthotics (Ozark), based in Springfield, Missouri, supplies lower limb prosthetics.

To maintain competency in these skills, it is crucial for the provider to have opportunities for review and retraining. Virtual airway training or telementoring can be an effective means to fulfilling these requirements for healthcare providers located in remote sites. The projection of high quality imagery to far forward locations is essential for health care practitioners in the provision of telemedicine and distance training. The Storz C-CAM was developed to interface with existing endoscopy equipment to facilitate implementation of telemetric devices in remote locations. This work describes the use of the Storz C-CAM in providing medical device training to deployed medical personnel at a far forward location.

Previous Office of Inspector General (OIG) reviews found that Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) did not ensure that lower limb prosthetic claims met the coverage requirements in local coverage determinations (LCDs). LCDs are decisions by DME MACs on whether to cover a particular service in accordance with section 1862(a)(1)(A) of the Social Security Act (the Act) and are published to provide guidance to the public and the medical community. In response to one of OIGs reviews, on March 5, 2012, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a Technical Direction Letter (TDL) directing the DME MACs to develop claim-processing edits for all requirements in LCDs for lower limb prostheses. Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), is one of the DME MACs. This review is part of a series of reviews to determine the compliance of DME MACs with LCD requirements for lower limb prostheses. The objective of this review was to determine whether Noridian processed and paid claims for lower limb prostheses according to LCD requirements for the period January 1, 2010, through December 31, 2011.

An experimental campaign was undertaken at the Von Karman Institute, Belgium, aimed at investigating the sliding doors inlet starting mechanism for a hypersonic scramjet inlet. This campaign provides the first step upon a much larger inlet starting investigation, with the results providing a backbone for comparison to future 2D and 3D transient RANS numerical studies. A scaled 2D representation of the SCRAMSPACE-I geometry was constructed, with two steel 3.2mm thick doors extending upstream from the inlet leading edge at an angle of 20 degrees. After achieving steady flow conditions, the doors were then retracted via a pneumatic piston and cabling system, with the resulting flow phenomena captured via visualization as well as quantitative instrumentation. The test campaign was undertaken in the H3 Wind Tunnel Facility, which provided a jet at Mach 6 at various reservoir pressures, with variance in Reynolds number used to simulate changing altitude conditions. Due to limitations with regards to tunnel blockage and diffuser placement, a scaling factor of 5.1 was applied to the model geometry proportionally in both the x and y directions. Successful inlet starting was achieved at conditions simulating flight at an altitude of approximately 29 km. Schlieren visualization techniques were employed, showing that supersonic conditions were indeed obtained in the inlet for approximately 32 flow lengths. Senflex thin film arrays, located on the inner surfaces of the inlet, captured the transient heat flux progression at different locations along the inlet. These profiles accurately captured the phenomena observed via the Schlieren imaging, in particular the propagation of shock structures into the inlet during the inlet starting procedure. Stanton number distributions along both arrays were extracted and showed a close comparison to those expected from numerical simulations reconstructed test flow conditions, which lends credibility to the integrity of the heat flux results.
