    The influence of cooling process on microstructure,second phase precipitation and mechanical property of Nb-Ti Micro-alloyed Low-Carbon Bainitic Steel has been examined by metalloscope and TEM.The results lustrate that accelerated cooling after air-cooling (relaxation) to a certain temperature could obtain ferrite / bainite dual phase structure.

    The isothermal transformation of wustite (FeO) in the range of 650~350℃ was studied using Gleeble 3500 thermal simulated test machine,electron back-scatter diffraction (EBSD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).A wustite layer was initially formed by oxidizing low carbon micro-alloyed steel in air at 880℃ for 20 seconds.The layer was then isothermally annealed at 650-350℃ in argon for up to 10000 seconds.The transformation of FeO was comprised by a proeutectoid reaction and a eutectoid reaction.

    Laser scribing is widely used to reduce core loss of grain-oriemed silicon steel recently.The effects of laser scribing on surface coating and magnetic properties of silicon steel were investigated in this paper.The effect of stress annealing treatment on laser scribing product has been analyzed.It was found that as laser power increased,the core loss reduced and the damage to surface coating exacerbated.Reducing the laser scribing line spacing to a certain width can achieve low core loss.The core loss of laser domain refined product will increase after annealing at certain temperature.

    This paper describes a hydrogen content on-line measurement system in the process of steel heat treatment based on the theory of hydrogen concentration cell.This System design includes two main measurement units and a MCU for calculation and output.The method of measurement data processing is discussed in this paper,and an algorithm of temperature value calibration is also proposed.Final test shows that the instrument has features of portability,continuity and real time capability,which make it has a potential future in the hydrogen content measurement in metallurgical enterprises.

    The corrosion failure analysis of an SA210 steel used in high pressure evaporator tube is conducted by XRD,SEM,OM.The result shows that the corrosion products in the inner wall of the steel tube is Fe3O4,mainly caused by the residual water in the evaporator tube corroding its inner wall with oxygen after the hydrostatic test of the boiler,finally leading to the corrosion leak of the tube.

    The precipitates in 850℃ aging 2205 Duplex stainless steel were extracted by the method of carbon extraction replicas.The method makes precipitates disperse uniformly and the contrast between precipitates and matrix distinct.TEM(Transmission Electron Microscope),EDS(Energy Dispersive Spectrometer) and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) were applied for the observation ofmicrostructure.The SEM micrographs were used for intermetallic size statistic,which revealed that the sizes of intermetallic increased with aging time.

    A fully coupled (two-way), transient, thermal-mechanical finite-element procedure is developed to model conventional gas metal arc welding (GMAW) butt-joining process. Two-way thermal-mechanical coupling is achieved by making the mechanical material model of the workpiece and the weld temperaturedependent and by allowing the potential work of plastic deformation resulting from large thermal gradients to be dissipated in theform of heat.

    A new method of determination of C parameter of Larson-Miller equation was introduced.For 15CrMo steel,the optimal value of parameter C in the equation was derived.The reliability of the obtained results was analyzed.

    A new kind of anti-oxidation coating for steel billets at high temperature was prepared.The resistance property of the coatings for oxidation was investigated.The result indicated that the coatings could decrease the oxidation loss at 1300℃.The anti-oxidation mechanism of the coatings on the surface of steel billets at high temperature was proposed at the same time.
