The SCM market in China is one of the fastest growing enterprise software markets in the country. Currently, local Chinese vendors such as UFIDA Software Co. Ltd., Inspur Co. Ltd., and Kingdee International Software Group Co. Ltd. are dominating the market; however, several foreign vendors such as SAP AG, Oracle Corp., and Microsoft Corp. have also entered the market. In China, large enterprises are generating most of the market revenue but small enterprises are expected to increase their share in the coming years. The SCM market in China is expected to witness a CAGR of 11.02 percent during the period 2011–2015.

A microgrid is a smaller version of the traditional centralized electrical grid. It is a power grid that is localized and operated independently of the larger grid. Microgrids generate, distribute, and control the flow of energy to consumers; however, all these activities are implemented locally. Microgrids are effective during power failures in the central grid system as they can operate independently by isolating their generation loads. Moreover, in the case of excess power, developers and owners of microgrids can sell the excess power to utility providers. These features increase the demand for microgrids and drive the growth of the market. The Microgrid market in China is expected to witness rapid growth during the period 2011–2015. One of the reasons for this rapid growth is the increasing demand for power. In 2011, the market was led by Nextek Power Systems Inc. The Microgrid market in China is expected to grow at a CAGR of 87.5 percent during the forecast period.

The IT market in China has continued to grow despite the recent economic downturn. The majority of the growth for the market comes from three sectors: Large Corporations, Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs), and Government. The IT market in China comprises IT hardware, IT services and IT software, which are expected to grow at a CAGR of 15.5 percent, 13 percent, and 13.3 percent respectively for the period 2011–2015. The overall IT market in China is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15.1 percent during the period 2011–2015.
