2013年3季度，世界经济复苏势头仍不稳定。从国际经济形势来看，美国经济受个人消费以及联邦政府开支增长等利好因素的影响，主要发展指标好于预期，而欧元区却因失业率的急速攀升拉低了经济增长的速度，日本经济虽连续4个季度正增长，但增速已明显放缓。从国内形势来看，中国经济增速稳中向好。根据国家统计局的初步核算，2013年前3季度实现国内生产总值386762亿元，按可比价格计算，累计同比增长7.7%。其中，1季度增长7.7%，2季度增长7.5%，3季度增长7.8%。经济的平稳运行给交通运输业的发展创造了良好的环境，使得交通运输各部门取得了较为平稳的发展：前3季度交通运输经济运行呈现1季度回落、2季度企稳、3季度总体向好的态势。交通运输行业固定资产投资增速波动较往年有所加剧，但投资结构继续优化。客货运输保持平稳增长，运输结构持续优化。交通运输业安全形势总体稳定，行业运行的协调性不断增强，运输服务水平逐步提高，有力地支撑了国民经济的平稳健康发展。

Cogeneration is a method by which useful heat and electricity can be generated simultaneously from a single fuel source, thereby drastically increasing the total efficiency of the system. During electricity production in a power station, a lot of heat is generated that is generally discarded. In a cogeneration system, the heat generated is captured and supplied to buildings that are situated in the vicinity of the power plant.
