In 3G era, mobile network operators and content providers must provide mobile content service accepted by consumers to obtain more profits. It is crucial to investigate the antecedents of adoption of mobile content service and the way they interact. In this paper, we explore how customers perceive and adopt mobile content service in China. We first extend the technology acceptance model (TAM) by integrating innovation of consumer, external influence, and perceived financial cost. Then some hypotheses are raised and tested using structural equation modeling. We find that the TAM is also correct in the situation of mobile commerce. In addition, innovation of consumer, external influence, and perceive financial cost have influence on the intention of adopting mobile content service. Managerial insights are generated in the last part of this paper.

We analyze a multiagent model of a pre-paid telecommunication market and illustrate how the topology of the call graph among customers influences long-run market prices. Verifying the robustness of our results by controlling for telecommunication operators' levels of rationality and price elasticity of customer demand for airtime, we show that operators' rationality levels influence the market's rate of convergence to long-run price levels while the price elasticity of demand significantly influences the relation between on- and off-network prices. In particular, increasing the price elasticity of demand leads to more price differentiation among customers regardless of call graph topology.

All Asia-Pacific countries have launched 4G services, which are slowly replacing 3G, as they are four to ten times faster. The Asia-Pacific is likely to have the highest volume of smartphone shipments, with revenue of the region’s mobile operators totaling US$500 billion in 2013, making it the world’s fastest-growing regional mobile market. SMS over the internet such as WeChat, LINE, KakaoTalk, Whatsapp and Viber have replaced traditional SMS among Asians as they provide lower or no charges, unlimited texting and rich features such as location sharing, emoticons or interesting animation. Although more Asia-Pacific internet users are web searching on smartphones and tablets Adobe estimates the vast majority of website visits are still done on a PC. The outlook for the mobile sector is positive, as smartphones with higher internet speeds are likely to be introduced to meet the demands of internet users and gadget lovers.

Recent research efforts strive to address the growing need for dismount surveillance, dismount tracking and characterization. Current work in this area utilizes hyperspectral and multispectral imaging systems to exploit spectral properties in order to detect areas of exposed skin and clothing characteristics. Because of the large bandwidth and high resolution, hyperspectral imaging systems pose great ability to characterize and detect dismounts. A multi-data dismount modeling system where the development and manipulation of dismount models is a necessity. This thesis demonstrates a computer aided multi-data fused dismount model, which facilitates studies of dismount detection, characterization and identification. The system is created by fusing: pixel mapping, signature attachment, and pixel mixing algorithms. The developed multi-data dismount model produces simulated hyperspectral images that closely represent an image collected by a hyperspectral imager. The dismount model can be modified to fit the researcher's needs. The multi-data model structure allows the employment of a database of signatures acquired from several sources. The model is flexible enough to allow further exploitation, enhancement and manipulation. The multi-data dismount model developed in this effort fulfills the need for a dismount modeling tool in a hyperspectral imaging environment.
