据国际铅锌研究小组（ILZSG）最新公布的数据，2013年1-6月全球精锌消费量为644.8万吨，同比增长3.8%。1-6月消费量增幅最大的国家依次是印度、土耳其、中国和美国，增幅基本在10%左右。欧洲地区扭转了去年消费量下滑的局面，同比增长1.2%，尤其是作为欧洲第一大经济体的德国，保持了1.6%的增长率。而位于亚洲的韩国，精锌消费量较去年同期出现明显回落，同比下降4.7%。

密松水电项目是中缅两国政府签署的伊江上游水电开发项目中最大的一座电站。伊江上游规划建设7座流域梯级电站和一座提供施工用电的电源电站即小其培电站，项目总装机容量2000万千瓦，总投资超过200亿美元。其中，密松项目投资逾36亿美元，装机容量600万千瓦。但该项目被缅甸政府叫停。记者就此事前去调查。
