  • 36252.十字路口的智能传感器车辆检测器现场评价:卷2—恶劣天气条件

    Two microwave-based systems for vehicle detection (by Wavetronix and MS SEDCO) were evaluated at stop bar and advance zones of a signalized intersection under three adverse weather conditions: (1) wind, (2) snow-covered roadway, and (3) rain. Weather effects were very different for the two systems both in terms of the type of condition that could affect performance and in the magnitude of those effects. For Wavetronix, wind had significant effects on the advance zone by increasing false calls to over 50, but it did not affect the stop bar zones. On the other hand, false calls in snow significantly increased to more than 40in the stop bar zones and to about 30in the advance zone. Snow also increased missed and stuck-on calls but in lower proportion than the false calls. Rain also affected the detection at stop bar zones, but all error types were below 8, and it did not affect the advance zone. For Intersector, weather effects were less pronounced both at the stop bar and advance zones. Snow increased false calls to a range of about 4to 8compared to 1.65to about 4in normal weather. In addition, rain increased stuck-on calls to a range of 2.7to 6.35at the stop bar zones and increased missed calls at advance zones to 3.44. Wind had no significant effects at stop bar or advance zones. In particular for the rain data, the intensity of the precipitation seemed to be related to the degree of performance degradation. In datasets with higher precipitation per unit of time, higher false calls were observed at Wavetronix stop bar zones, and a higher frequency of missed calls was observed at the Intersector advance zone. Findings from this evaluation can provide valuable information to users and manufacturers of these products regarding expected performance under adverse weather conditions at locations with similar mountings and settings, as well as insight about potential solutions to preventing negative effects in such scenarios.

    Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) sensor systems have gained much interest in the aerospace community as potentially enabling technologies for reducing maintenance costs while maintaining flight safety of aging structures. Many candidate SHM technologies are essentially damage detection systems, i.e. variations of well-established NDI methods such as ultrasonics, electro- magnetic (eddy current), and acoustic emission. Still others employ displacement detection such as strain-sensing and dynamic vibration sensing. Unfortunately, the path for transition onto United States Air Force (USAF) weapon systems is not well defined. Before SHM technologies can be qualified for fleet-wide usage, these systems must demonstrate their capability to meet performance requirements in terms of detection capability, reliability, and safety while and providing an economic benefit. Ultimately the qualification program must be sufficiently robust to support an airworthiness certification decision. This document provides guidance for the demonstration and qualification of permanently mounted damage detection systems intended for use on USAF aircraft. More specifically, this document will (a) focus on applications where damage tolerance principles are used to manage structural integrity, (b) propose a task-based approach for system qualification, and (c) identify existing Air Force policies that define the path for modification management and obtaining airworthiness certification approval.

    The intelligent agriculture is one of the applications of Internet of Things (IOT),which has an extensive application and bright foreground.ZigBee Alliance formulated the ZigBee standards in the wireless sensor network tec hnology,that are recognized widely as authoritative standard of the Internet of Things,but ZigBee nodes,as the important unit of an intelligent monitoring system for agricultural environment,are the basic unit to reali ze the monitoring functi on.The paper briefly presents the architecture of ZigBee technology,designs the hardware architecture of ZigBee nodes on CC2531 (ZigBee coordinator and end node) and the software architecture of ZigBee nodes,and implements on botanical garden in QiongZhou University.The actual test result dermnstrates that the nodes can obtain the temperature,hum idity and illumination information in real tim e,and then transferred to the remote monitoring center.It has better actual application value.

    Recent advances in sensor and recording technology have allowed scientists to acquire very large time-series datasets. Researchers often analyze these datasets in the context of events, which are intervals of time where the properties of the signal change relative to a baseline signal. We have developed DETECT, a MATLAB toolbox for detecting event time intervals in long, multi-channel time series. Our primary goal is to produce a toolbox that is simple for researchers to use, allowing them to quickly train a model on multiple classes of events, assess the accuracy of the model, and determine how closely the results agree with their own manual identification of events without requiring extensive programming knowledge or machine learning experience. As an illustration, we discuss application of the DETECT toolbox for detecting signal artifacts found in continuous multi-channel EEG recordings and show the functionality of the tools found in the toolbox. We also discuss the application of DETECT for identifying irregular heartbeat waveforms found in electrocardiogram (ECG) data as an additional illustration.

  • 36257.十字路口的智能传感器车辆检测器现场评价:卷1—正常天气条件

    Microwave-based vehicle detection products from two manufacturers were selected for field testing and evaluation: Wavetronix and Intersector. The two systems were installed by the manufacturer/distributor at a signalized intersection. Initial evaluation was performed and the results were shared with the companies. They were given an opportunity to change or fine-tune the systems setup, if they wanted, resulting in a modified setup. Results are presented in this report in terms four types of errors (false, missed, stuck-on, and dropped calls). At the stop bar, at least 94of detections for Wavetronix and 96for Intersector were correct. At stop bar zones, the overall occurrence of false calls for Wavetronix ranged from 0.56to 1.62. Missed calls were low for Zones 1 and 2 (0.13and 0.43) but significantly higher in Zone 3 (6.05). Also, stuck-on calls were only observed in Zone 3 (0.58), and a few dropped calls were found almost exclusively in Zone 3 (0.16). For Intersector, false calls ranged from 1.4to 3.56and missed calls ranged between 0.05and 0.27. Stuckon calls ranged from 0.92for 2.83and dropped calls were very low (0and 0.19). At the advance zones, at east 91of detections for Wavetronix and 99for Intersector were correct. For the advance zone, a direct comparison of the two systems was not performed because Wavetronix covered all three lanes combined, but Intersector had one zone covering only the center lane. Wavetronix did not have any stuck-on or dropped calls, missed calls were 1.07, and false calls were 8.29for the summer and fall datasets combined. Intersector had no dropped calls, 0.04stuck-on calls (only one call), 0.8missed calls, and 0.7false calls. Additional testing is under way to evaluate the performance of the two systems under inclement weather conditions.

    We are studying adaptive social networks, focusing on spread of infectious disease as our primary example and including terrorist recruitment as an additional example. In an adaptive network, individuals change their social connections in response to their neighbors' characteristics, and these changes in network topology affect subsequent properties of the individuals. The network adaptation can be disease avoidance or connecting to potential recruits. Major goals of the project included extending previous models to incorporate more realistic network structure, adding spread of information that affects human behavior, studying the extinction of diseases, developing control strategies for epidemics on adaptive networks, and developing tools to analyze and monitor adaptive network properties. We have extended models to include network community structure, information spread, and more realistic social adaptation. We developed the first adaptive network model for terrorist recruitment. Our analytic work includes new techniques for predicting extinction rates of epidemics and the trajectory to extinction, methods to apply this to extinction on a network, and new moment closure approximation techniques that lead to more accurate predictions. For monitoring and control, we developed a method to quantify network adaptation and studied vaccine control for epidemics in adaptive networks.

    The Internet of Things is a bearer network based on the Internet,the traditional telecommunications network,wireless self-organizing networks etc,so that all can be individually addressable ordinary physical objects to achieve the interconnection network.The Internet of Things is evolved from the wireless sensor network,which has limited resource in energy,memory,calculation,bandwidth and etc,.In addition,many applications in the lnternet of Things are related to user privacy.In the process of data collection and transmission,the data may be forged,tampered,and a variety of other information security threats.In order to extend the network lifetime,to protect the authenticity and reliability of data fusion,this paper presents a reputation model of data fusion algorithm.The algorithm is verified by simulation,the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and the result of data aggregation is reliable.

    The mobile agent route is essentially a multi-constraint optimization problem,Genetic Algorithms has fast random global search ability,but the feedback information of the system does not use and has the problem of low efficiency of finding exact solutions,propose a genetic hybrid ant colony algorithm for WSN mobile agent route.Use of the fast random global search capabilities of genetic algorithm to find better solutions,then the better solution replaced by the initial pheromone of the ant colony algorithm,finally use the advantages of convergence speed of ant colony algorithm to find the global optimal solution for mobile agent route.Simulation results show that the algorithm can find optimal mobile agent route in a relatively short time,relative to other routing algorithms,reducing network latency and average energy consumption,improving the speed and efficiency of data transfer.
