Landing lights are used in night landing operations by aircrafts. Position lights are also known as navigation lights. Cabin lights are used to illuminate the aircraft cabin. Emergency lights include interior and exterior lights, which are battery powered. They are not directly connected to the main electrical system of the aircraft.
