Release liners are made from paper or plastic and function as a carrier of pressure-sensitive labeling. They have specialized non-stick coatings on one or both sides. They are coated with release agents on one or both sides, which prevent them from bonding to the material. The release resists bonding against any material coated with adhesives. Release liners protect the adhesive prior to its initial application. Release liners come in different forms such as paper or plastic films, and can be printed or non-printed. Primarily, release liners are made from glassine or super-calendered kraft paper.

Scars are permanent patches of fibrous tissue that result from the healing process of a wound and can be treated using invasive and non-invasive techniques, including surgery and OTC treatment products. These products and procedures can be used to treat all types of scars, such as keloid scars, contracture scars, hypertrophic scars, and atrophic scars. Scars caused by surgery can be removed by surgical revisions, although most people are reluctant to go for another invasive procedure after a surgery. Apart from the easily available OTC scar treatment products, patients can also go for lesser known alternatives such as cryotherapy, clinical peel, and compression.

Drilling involves the boring of a hole in the earth's surface for extraction of oil and gas. The holes drilled for the extraction of oil are known as oil wells. These wells are created by drilling a hole of 12 cm to 1 m in diameter with a drill rig, which rotates the drill string with other downhole drilling tools attached to it. Drilling downhole tools facilitate the drilling process and counter challenges associated with drilling such as extreme depth, high temperature, and pressure difference. These tools guide or steer wells through a small reservoir by changing the trajectory of the well. Currently, a variety of downhole drilling tools are available in the market that can be used in BHA. Some drilling tools are unique and specific to a particular drilling operation while others are generic in nature and can be used for multiple purposes.
