Non-melanoma skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the world. It develops in the upper layers of the skin, but not in melanocytes. There are two types of non-melanoma skin cancer: BCC, which starts in the basal cells, and SCC, which starts in the squamous cells. BCC usually develops in the areas such as the head and neck, whereas SCC starts in the face, ears, neck, lips, and backs of the hands. These can also grow in wounds or chronic skin sores. Non-melanoma skin cancer is caused by unprotected and excessive exposure to UV radiation. It affects men more than women. It can be cured effectively if it is detected early. Treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer includes surgery, laser therapy, cryotherapy, creams, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and PDT.

Level measurement, commonly termed as tank gauging, is an instrumentation technique used to identify the height of the fluid or solid within a containing vessel. Level measurements can be either contact based or non-contact based. Contact-based level measurement can be done mainly through devices such as magnetostrictive sensors, vibratory probes, hydrostatics and magnetic floats, whereas non-contact-based level measurement can be primarily done through ultrasonic, radar, laser, and optical devices. Radar technology is mainly used for the detection of level in continuous level measurement applications. Radar level detectors basically include a transmitter, a receiver, and an antenna. The detector uses electromagnetic waves usually in microwave X-band range, which is around 10 GHz. These transmitters are classified into two broad categories depending on their application: radar level transmitters for ITG and radar level transmitters for process level.

Diabetic neuropathy is a nerve disorder associated with diabetes. As a result of diabetic neuropathy, axonal damage decreases nerve action potential , thereby inhibiting neuronal signal transmission. Diabetic neuropathy is characterized by progressive damage to the myelin sheath, which slows down nerve conduction velocity. About 60-70 percent of diabetic patients develop neuropathy, with a considerable number of patients remaining undiagnosed during the initial years of progression. Hence, disease management should start with the initial diagnosis of diabetes. Diabetic neuropathy treatment involves lowering blood glucose levels (keeping it within the normal range) to prevent further nerve damage and treatment to provide symptomatic relief. Alternative therapies, which help in managing pain, such as biofeedback, meditation, acupuncture, or other relaxation techniques, can also be used to provide relief to patients.

An induction hob utilizes electrical induction technology to heat cookware. This appliance uses a magnetic field to move the molecules in the cookware, making it hot. Hence, only the cookware gets heated while the glass top and the air surrounding the vessel do not. This makes an induction hob a safer and more energy-efficient option than a gas hob. Induction hobs, also known as induction cooktops, are also more versatile and allow quick and controlled heating when compared with traditional gas hobs.
