Insurance is a financial instrument, it is a contract that involves two parties: the insurer and the insured. Based on the contract policies and conditions, the insured pays a premium to cover the specified asset or life. The life insurance policy is a contract between the insurer and the insured, under which the premiums are received, and the insurer agrees to pay a sum of money based on the conditions in the policy. The insurance market in India is an established one. Digitization of insurance is expected to increase the penetration rate of life insurance policies because of wider availability of technologically advanced products online. Insurance policies are broadly classified as traditional and ULIPs. The improvements in internet infrastructure and the rising cost of insurance policies are major factors that pave the way for online life insurance. With public entities such as LIC entering the online insurance market, the credibility of policies purchased online is strengthened, thereby leading to higher enrollment for online policies. As a result, there has been an increase in activities pertaining to sales as well as renewal of insurance policies via the online medium. Policyholders who purchased policies in a traditional manner are also using the online method for renewals and paying premiums.

Urinary incontinence is any involuntary urine leakage. It may occur as a result of an abnormal function of the lower urinary tract, an overactive bladder, or other illnesses. It is estimated that about 50% of women suffer from urinary incontinence at some point in their lives. In men, the prevalence is 5%, and most cases are related to prostate disease. The severity depends on the psychological, physical, and social well-being of the affected individuals.

NGS technology is used to sequence millions of small fragments of DNA simultaneously. The technology is similar to capillary electrophoresis, where the bases of a small fragment of DNA are sequentially identified from signals emitted and each fragment is resynthesized from a DNA template strand. The major difference is the NGS process is extended across millions of reactions in a parallel fashion rather than being restricted to a single or a few DNA fragments. NGS technology enables rapid sequencing of large stretches of DNA base pairs spanning entire genomes with highly sophisticated instruments capable of producing hundreds of gigabytes of data in a single sequencing run. NGS finds application in whole-genome, exome, and transcriptome sequencing. NGS coupled with bioinformatics tools has revolutionized cancer research, diagnosis, and therapy. This technology helps to track and trace the spread of disease and foreign contaminants in drugs.

Similar to a mechanical water meter, a smart water meter is connected to a data logger that continuously monitors a building's or home's water consumption. However, whereas traditional water meters only measure total consumption, smart water meters are Internet-capable devices that record when and how much water is being used, providing real-time information that enables companies and individual consumers to understand and monitor their water consumption. Smart water meters help water utilities, in particular, to manage their water networks more efficiently and provide better customer service, chiefly by allowing them to accurately determine water consumption at peak periods. For instance, washing machines create pulses when in use, which are logged by a data logger in a predefined frequency. User-defined parameters, such as flow rate, time, and volume, disaggregate the information provided by these pulses and assign them to different water-use "events." These events are then retrieved by the smart water meter, so that water consumption or wastage can be measured and controlled. Smart water meter information can be represented as exhibited below:
