摘 要:Asia-Pacific markets displayed varying results from country to country while real estate markets in the region remained resilient. China’s economy slowed as it continued to transform from an export-led to a consumption growth model; however, Japanese growth picked up after the Government announced a stimulus program to reignite the stagnant economy.The average share price of 14 leading property companies declined by 8.39% over the six months,with only five companies’ prices rising over the six months ended October 2, 2013.Leading Asia-Pacific property companies reported mixed financial results, with a few seeing improvements and others suffering lower net profits and declining revenue in the half year ended June 30, 2013.Merger and acquisition activity remained active over the first half, thanks to positive sentiment in the market.
