摘 要：The project focuses on various aspects of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and its significance to today's automotive signal/data communication systems that include navigation, communication, safety, information and entertainment. The requirements of various data transmission networks (interconnecting wiring and connection system) to provide interface to various systems will be discussed. The importance of EMC assurance to minimize the systems emissions and susceptibility to electromagnetic Interference (EMI) will be examined. The research focuses on the identification of critical parameters that affect the performance of the data transmission network, the development of test methodology and the analytical techniques to properly define its performance characteristics.
