摘 要:Improvement in the global economy was noticeable in most Asia-Pacific markets during the second half of 2013, with several countries reporting strong growth and the regional real estate market remaining firm, particularly in South East Asia. The World Bank estimates the Asia-Pacific economy grew by 7.1% in 2013, compared with 7.5% a year earlier. Regional growth was marred by several natural disasters during the second half, the most severe being Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, which killed an estimated 6,000 people in November. Although the pace of growth slowed, the region contributed 40% of global growth and 33% of global trade, the highest of any region in 2013.
