摘 要:Multipath propagation and amplitude damping are unavoidable physical phenomena in wireless communication systems. The first causes intersymbol interference in the information signal leading to problems in the decoding of information at the receiver end. The second signifies loss of communication at receiver end. In this work, we present numerical evidences that the multi-path propagation and amplitude damping do not alter the largest positive Lyapunov exponent of some chaotic discrete maps. We also discuss results of simulations illustrating how one could use this property to create a chaos-based communication system that is robust to multi-path propagation and amplitude damping.
