摘 要:Meta-xylene or m-xylene is an aromatic isomer of xylene with two methyl groups attached at the meta position of a benzene ring. This aromatic hydrocarbon is produced with the help of a catalyst in processes such as adsorptive separation, moving bed adsorptive chromatography, and crystallization. It is used in various commercial applications, most notably for the production of IPA, which is used as a raw material for the production of plastics, chemicals, and paints.
