摘 要：CPCIF expects domestic demand for energy and major chemical products to grow rapidly in 2013.Apparent consumption of crude oil for 2013 is estimated to grow 5% YoY, natural gas, up 16%,inorganic chemicals, up 7%, organic chemicals, up 10% and synthetic materials, up 5%.While the setup of China subsidiaries and subsequent organic growth is the most obvious option for multinationals, more rapid growth may be achieved by the acquisition of an established domestic chemical company.The Chinese fertilizer industry is going to face major challenges in the coming years.Differences in Chinese penetration rates as compared to international benchmarks were heavily impacted by high price differences.
