摘 要:Data converters can be classi ed into two main categories: Nyquist-rate and oversampling con- verters. Nyquist-rate converters exhibit one-to-one correspondence between the input and output, do not use memory elements, and can convert higher bandwidth (BW) signals at lower sampling frequencies [1]. Nyquist-rate converters are typically more suitable for high bandwidth applications since they sample near the Nyquist frequency. The drawback of Nyquist-rate converters is that analog component matching directly impacts linearity and accuracy, and practical conditions of today limit these converters to approximately 14-bit resolution.
