摘 要：The US is one of the most sought-after destinations for educational purposes due to the availability of better career prospect, high growth opportunity and accessibility of technologically developed higher educational institutions. In the US, school education is mandatory for the age group of 6-18 years. The students have an option either to join free public schools or paid private schools. Education system in the US is unlike several other countries and is largely funded by the public sector. The education industry is majorly funded by the federal government, state government and local government. Students have the variety of public and private institutions to choose for higher education. Public universities receive huge amount of funding from the government as against private universities. Private universities get the government support as tax exemption, student loan and grants.
