摘 要：The Asia-Pacific mobile market remained the fastest growing mobile market globally over the last six months, with connections more than double those of any other market. Asia’s economies grew substantially towards the second half of the year, fueling the telecoms market growth and causing broadband growth to surge ahead. In the six months to November, Asia-Pacific consumers continued to sign up for high-speed broadband at a fast rate. Over the six months to November 2012, the share prices of leading telecoms companies in the Asia-Pacific rose by an average of 10.16%. The Asia-Pacific telecoms sector continued to consolidate over the period from June to December 2012, as companies sought new growth areas to counter more intense competition.
