印度制药和医疗保健行业报告(2019-2023年)
India Pharma and Healthcare Sector Report 2019-2023
The Indian healthcare Industry has undergone significant transformation over the past three decades. From one dominated by public sector hospitals, it has shifted to being dominated by private hospitals in a response to the changing healthcare needs of the population. The private sector that dominates the secondary and tertiary healthcare segments, accounts for around 70% of total health care spending in India as of FY2018. Approximately 75% of all hospitals and 40% of total hospital beds - particularly in the secondary and tertiary healthcare segments - are owned and operated by the private sector. During FY2014-FY2018, India’s hospital sector grew at a CAGR of 8% to USD 87bn in FY2018. The key drivers of healthcare services in India are the increase in patient population and the resulting higher spending on healthcare services.
