QSFP is an optical transceiver module used in optical fiber communication systems. The main function of this module is photoelectric conversion. In an optical fiber communication system, the information is sent in the form of light pulses, which is then converted into electrical signals in order to be utilized by an electronic device. The transmitter then converts the electrical signal into an optical signal, which is coupled to a connector.
