摘 要：Thermal flowmeters are used for measuring gas flow. They discharge heat into the flow stream, and then measure the rate of heat dissipation using temperature sensors. There are different methods to measure the rate at which heat is dissipated. One of the methods is called constant temperature differential in which the thermal flowmeter uses a heated RTD as a velocity sensor and a second sensor to measure the temperature of the gas. The flowmeter constantly attempts to maintain a difference between the temperatures of the two sensors. Mass flowrates are then computed based on the amount of electrical power supplied to heat the velocity sensor to be able to maintain the constant difference in temperature.
