摘 要：A virtual system pattern is an IBM PureApplication System deployment model that definesthe cloud workload as a topology of middleware images. The virtual system pattern modelsupports only static scaling of virtual system pattern instance nodes. This article explains howto build a virtual application pattern that can implement automatic scaling of the virtual systempattern instance nodes. This technique leverages the virtual application pattern policy, themonitoring framework, and the Virtual System Pattern Clone API.
