摘 要:Urinary incontinence slings are flexible surgical mesh systems placed under the urethra or the bladder neck for support and to minimize incontinence efficiently. The procedure uses strips of tissues or a synthetic mesh to create a hammock-like fixture that wraps around the bladder neck. Urinary incontinence slings are also called urethral support slings. Urinary slings are of two major types: TOT and TVT.
