摘 要:Forest information collection plays an important role in the process of building modern forestry. This paper proposes a monitoring system-Sensing Forest System, based on the Internet of Things, 3G and 3D GIS, to make up for the shortcomings of traditional monitoring methods. Key issues, such as system architecture, design of wireless multimedia sensor nodes and data transfer process in the network, have been studied and presented, for obtaining real-time comprehensive forestry information, accurately, automatically and remotely, to lay foundations for applications of the Internet of Things in forestry.
