摘 要:Personal care ingredients are used to manufacture products such as skin care products, hair care products, cosmetics, and oral hygiene products. These ingredients contribute to the aroma, moisturizing capability, and conditioning features of personal care products. Personal care ingredients are of two types: active and inactive. Active ingredients provide functional properties to the product; they are biologically active substances that have pharmacological characteristics. They provide specific cosmetic solutions for dry skin, wrinkles, and age spots in the form of conditioning agents, exfoliators, and UV absorbers. Inactive ingredients contribute to the physical properties of the product. Ingredients such as surfactants, polymers and preservatives are inactive personal care ingredients.
