They are usually used in military applications, but with changing times and needs, the demand for their use in applications such as: remote sensing, air traffic control, law enforcement, highway security, navigation, ship safety, and space programs has emerged. Because of this increasing demand, vendors are investing more in the R&D of radar technologies.
