摘 要：Biomass power generation is a source method of power generation through carbon-contained wastes of various human and natural activities. These wastes are derived from various sources, including the byproducts from the Timber industry, sugarcane crop, woody plants, agricultural residue, oil-rich algae, and the organic part of municipal and industrial wastes. Power generation through biomass is gaining popularity these days. Recovering energy from garbage has developed over the years from the simple incineration of waste in an uncontrolled environment to the controlled combustion of waste with energy recovery and ensuring that emissions are within the limits. Biomass is an ideal substitute for conventional fossil fuels for heating and power generation purposes. There are a number of technical options available to make use of a wide variety of biomass types as a renewable energy source. Conversio technologies may release the energy directly, in the form of heat or electricity, or may convert it to another form, such as liquid biofuel or combustible biogas.
