摘 要：By 2015, the Asia-Pacific could account for an estimated 39% of the world’s annual economic growth, with multinational insurers preparing for further investment in the region or in the midst of investing in the region.Asia-Pacific insurers have recovered from the distraught market conditions of the financial crisis,which led to massive losses in equity capital markets and a dramatic widening of credit spreads. Insurers have adjusted and expanded their distribution strategies amid shifting demographics and consumer buying patterns. India’s Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) is drafting guidelines that wouldallow Indian insurers and reinsurers to open overseas branch offices, subsidiaries or joint ventures.
