摘 要：The sweetener market in the US is majorly dominated by players such as Archer Daniel Midland Company, Cargill, Tate and Lyle and Ingredion Incorporated. The demand for caloric sweeteners which include the High-Fructose Corn Sugar(HFCS), glucose syrup,dextrose,honey and other edible syrups have increased over the years in the US. In order to meet the domestic demand for honey, a total of 130.5 thousand tonnes of honey was imported in 2011.
