摘 要:Fungicides are a class of pesticide that are formulated to inhibit or kill the growth of fungus on crops and plants. Fungicides that are synthesized from natural sources are commonly known as bio-fungicides. An increase in the global demand for food has increased the pressure on farmers to enhance their crop yield. Hence, farmers are increasingly adopting fungicides to meet the demand for food. The major types of fungicide used include triazoles, strobilurins, dithiocarbamates, inorganics, other azoles, phthalimides, and benzimidazoles. Fungicides are also used for non-crop applications such as turf and ornamental management.
