To calculate the market size, the new models of foodservice equipment that are sold to various end-users such as restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and retail formats are being considered.The refrigeration and ice machine segment generated the highest revenue for the

commercial foodservice equipment (CFSE) market in 2016 and is expected to grow significantly during the forecast period. This segment held a 22.99% share of the market in 2016 owing to the demand for high-quality refrigerators and ice machines among end-users. Manufacturers are looking for ways to provide innovative technologies such as programmable menu and advanced filtration system for ice maker machines. End-users are also looking forward to replace the older technology with new innovations. The foodservice disposables and primary cooking equipment segments followed the refrigeration and ice machine segment with market shares of 19.55% and 19.14%, respectively, in 2016.
