However, technological innovations are leading to the launch of conditioners in the form of detergent bars. A cardiac pacemaker is a medical device used to supplement the normal electrical activity of the heart in people with cardiac disorders such as sick sinus syndrome, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and atrioventricular blockages. The sinoatrial node, a group of cells in the heart tissue, is the natural pacemaker of the heart. In cases where abnormal electrical pulses are produced by the sinoatrial node, artificial cardiac pacemakers are used to prompt the heart to beat at a normal rate. Cardiac pacemakers also monitor and record the heart's electrical activity and rhythm. They monitor blood temperature and breathing rate and adjust the heart rate to changes in a person's activities. They can be temporary or permanent, implantable or external, depending on the requirements of the individual.

The Asia-Pacific ICT sector slowed over the six months under review, hampered by sluggish growth in China and India. Emerging countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines spent more on ICT, with governments budgeting to further develop high-tech ICT infrastructure. The ten leading Asian IT stocks were mixed over the six months to October 25, 2013, but most of them performed poorly, declining by an average 5.8%. Fiber lasers contain the active gain medium, which is an optical fiber integrated with rare-earth elements such as erbium and ytterbium. All-wheel and 4-wheel drive systems are used in automobiles to allow all/four wheels of the vehicle to receive torque from the engine. The All-wheel system has a differential, whereas the 4- wheel drive system does not and so the latter can be used as a part-time 4-wheel drive system. In this mechanism, the torque from the engine goes to the transfer case and then to front and rear axles. These vehicles offer more safety as they are less prone to wheel slippage.
