美国农业部6.月12日发布的2013/2014棉花预测显示，全球棉花库存预期连续第四年增加，达到历史新高。2013/2014世界期末库存现在预计为9250万包，较2012/2013提高9%。报告指出，由于世界产量大于消费量，因此，全球棉花库存在过去几年大幅增加。近几年棉花价格相对较高，鼓励了棉花生产。自2011/2012年以来，全球棉花库存就一直在增加，而且主要集中在中国，中国的收储政策聚集了市场上大量的棉花，支持了棉花价格。

The crop protection industry worldwide has experienced gamut of activities in the past six years.The industry was valued at USD45,189.0 in 2011 with an offering of wide product line of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and bio-pesticides, micro-nutrients and adjuvant. The trajectory of the growth in global industry has been based on frequent changes in the weather conditions, instability in the prices of agricultural commodities, skepticism amongst the farmers in the emerging nations about the usage of agrochemicals followed by lack of availability of liquidity to invest in agricultrual inputs.
