摘 要:Well intervention services are a series of recovery and maintenance activities carried out to replenish an oil or gas well and increase its production life. Primarily, these services provide intervention on existing wells. This service is generally performed after well completion. As the process involves repair and maintenance, it begins with diagnostic activity. Depending on the location of the well, i.e., wellbore drilled on land, shallow water, and deep water, intervention is categorized as either onshore or offshore (or subsea). Onshore and offshore services are carried out under light, medium, and heavy intervention services. Intervention service providers cater to the specific service requirements of oil and gas companies.
