摘 要:The current practice for evaluating the payback period for a GSHP application can be time consuming and expensive owing to the large number of inputs required by simulations and the complexity of the simulations. It is highly desirable to have a tool that can estimate the payback period with reasonable accuracy but minimal expenditure of both time and money. An approach to simplifying the evaluation effort is to identify the key parameters that most significantly affect the payback period of GSHP applications. Through a comprehensive parametric study, key parameters are identified that, within a typical range of variations, can make more than a 30% difference in the payback period for implementing a typical GSHP system in typical medium-size office buildings.
